I think it's something missing in level desig. Or maybe enemys or something to destroy. You have a sword and you use it only once?

you should work on that synth starting at 1:00. It does not fit too well to the rest.
maybe make the bassline more interesting. I think the song sounds a bit boring. You can maybe change this by adding some sort of breaks or "surprise elements".

Simple but good. Great for a menu theme in a game.

You use the paint palette? I love this style of graphics. It reminds me of games like "Golden Sun" for GBA.
